350 defendants including the chairman in the clash of Awami League-BNP supporters

A case has been filed at Tentulia Model Police Station in connection with the clash between supporters of Awami League and BNP last Monday 16 (September) in Sipaipara market of Banglabandha Union of Panchagarh. In the case, Banglabandha Union Parishad Chairman Kudrat-e Khuda Milon has been named as the main defendant and 15 people have been named as defendants along with 350 unknown people. BNP supporter Obaidul Haque (45) filed a case as a plaintiff at Tentulia Model Police Station on Tuesday (September 17) afternoon.
The other accused in the case are Ayub Ali (55) of Hawajot village of Tentulia upazila, Hasan (27), Himu (40), Masum (28) of the same village, Ziarul (35) of Dagarbari village, Rustam (33) of Futkibari village, Ahsan Habib of Dagarbari village. (35), Ah Rahman (30) of Dakshin Kashimganj village, Anishur Rahman (30) of Dargasing village, Pavel Hossain (19) of Hakimpur village, Shukru (50) of Hawajot village, Akash (23), Tariqul Islam (35) and Hnday (29) ). Besides, 350 people remain unidentified.
Tentulia Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sujoy Kumar Roy said that after the incident of confrontation on Monday, 7 people were taken into police custody with the help of locals. When a case was filed in the wake of the incident on Tuesday, the 7 people were arrested and sent to the district jail through the court in the afternoon.
Kudar-e Khuda, chairman of Banglabandha Union Parishad (UP), the main accused in the case, said, I was not in the area last Monday (September 17). Meanwhile in my absence a planned event and situation has been created. Which has been doing since August 5. However, yesterday (Monday) angry people took the opportunity to attack my house and looted it with arson and instead filed a case in my name. I seek the attention and cooperation of the administration, please investigate the matter. In the case of attack, arson and looting in our house, the case will be taken after family discussion.
Earlier on Monday (September 16) around 11:30 AM in Sipaipara Bazaar of Banglabandha Union of Tentulia Upazila, local BNP supporters attacked and vandalized the shop of hotelier Obaidul Haque, accusing them of being the supporters of Upazila Awami League Organizing Secretary and UP Chairman Kudrat-e Khuda Milon. At that time, when the BNP supporters came forward, the clash between the two sides took place. Around 14 people were injured on both sides. Police and BGB reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
