Former commander of Chatmohar, brave freedom fighter Mojaharul Haque is no more

Former commander of Pabna Chatmohar Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad, veteran freedom fighter Gazi SM Mojaharul Haque is no more.
He passed away at his residence in Kazipara Mohalla of Chatmohar town on Wednesday (October 2) at around ten o'clock in the morning. (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun).
Mozaharul Haque was 69 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, two sons and three daughters. Rabiul Islam, the eldest son of the deceased, confirmed this information. He said that his father was suffering from kidney complications for a long time.
He will be buried in the Shahi graveyard after his funeral prayers at Chatmohar Shahi Mosque after Asr today. Before this, he will be given a state guard of honour. His death has cast a shadow of mourning among freedom fighters and civil society.
It is to be noted that freedom fighter Gazi Mozaharul Haque played a heroic role in the great liberation war of 1971. He served as commander of Chatmohar Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad for many years.
