Upazila-wide Tree Planting Program 2024 in memory of martyrs in anti-discrimination movement in Khoksa In the institutional phase of 2024, tree planting program has been held in a total of 208 institutions including primary-secondary-madrasa-college-mosque and temple.
On Saturday morning in the premises of Khoksa Janipur Government Pilot Secondary School of Upazila, "We are all Khoksa residents" initiative, Khoksa Alokita face media personality Dr. Presided over by Ujjal Kumar Roy, Jhenaidah District Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Baijayant Biswas Victor was present as the chief guest. Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Reshma Khatun was the special guest. Khoksa Janipur Pilot Government Secondary School Principal Mr. Shahidul Islam, Shomespur Girls School Principal Sharifuzzaman Billu, Sonali Bank Manager Prasad Biswas, Biljani Dakhil Madrasa Super Mr. Abdul Awal, Kumarkhali Janata Bank Manager Badiuzzaman Babul, Journalist Sohag Mahmud, Journalist Humayun Kabir, Lalan is the father of researcher SM Rushdie, Shaheed Maruf and Maheen.
A tree plantation program was initiated by planting saplings of kamini, bakul, neem and jackfruit in the premises of Khoksa Janipur Government Pilot Secondary School for beautification. The program concluded with the planting of trees in the upazila-wide institution's yard under the supervision of Khoksa Upazila Scout.
