A student died after being electrocuted at a Noorani Madrasa in Narayanganj!

A teenage student from Tentulia upazila lost his life after being electrocuted at a Noorani Madrasa in Narayanganj. The deceased has been identified as Masud Rana (16). He is the son of Baninda Dablu of Khekridangi village in Shalbahan union of Tentulia upazila in Panchagarh.
The tragic accident took place at a Hafezia Noorani Madrasa in Narayanganj on Tuesday (October 21) afternoon.
According to local sources, Masud Rana had been studying as a Hifzul Quran student at the madrasa for a long time. On the day of the incident, an electrical connection wire next to the madrasa building suddenly snapped in the afternoon. He accidentally touched the wire and was electrocuted and fell unconscious.
Later, the madrasa teachers and locals quickly rescued him and took him to the Narayanganj Upazila Health Complex. However, the doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, a shadow of grief descended on the village home of the deceased when the news of his death was announced. Family members broke down in tears.
Regarding the incident, Tentulia Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Musa Mia said, “This did not happen in our area, but we heard about the incident. The local police are investigating as the matter happened in Narayanganj.”
Shalbahan Union Parishad Chairman Ashraful Islam also confirmed the truth of the incident and said, “Masud Rana is the son of our union. We are deeply saddened by such a tragic incident.”
The local administration said that the process of handing over the body of the deceased Masud Rana to the family is underway.
