Mayoral candidate Khorshed Alam stands by kidney patient, distributes Eid gifts to hundreds of families

Savar municipal mayoral candidate and BNP leader Lion Khorshed Alam stands by Anwar Hossain, who has been living a life of inhumane conditions due to kidney disease for a long time in Dogarmora, Savar municipal area.
Upon receiving the news of this humanitarian incident, he directly went to Anwar Hossain's house and inquired about his physical condition. At this time, Khorshed Alam handed over cash assistance to the sick person. He also assured that he would bear the necessary expenses of his treatment in the future.
Anwar Hossain's family members expressed relief at Khorshed Alam's assistance. Local residents also praised his humanitarian initiative.
Later, he distributed Eid gifts to hundreds of helpless and low-income families in Dogarmora area. The delivery of food items from door to door received a positive response from the general public.
Ward No. 7 councilor candidate and BNP leader Yunus Khan, Savar Municipality Chhatra Dal leader Taj Khan Naeem, Dhaka District North Chhatra Dal joint general secretary Faisal Ahmed Babu, as well as leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations including Kakon, Ashikur Rahman Nayan, and local dignitaries were present at the Eid gift distribution ceremony.
Locals said that along with political activities, humanitarian aid initiatives are conveying a positive message to the common people.
