‘No choice but to accept Iran’s 14-point proposal’ Ghalibaf’s strong message to the US

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has said that Tehran’s 14-point proposal is the only effective solution to resolve the ongoing tension and conflict with the US. He said that Washington has no realistic alternative but to accept Iran’s proposal.
In a post on social media, Ghalibaf said, “There is no effective way open to the US except to accept Iran’s 14-point proposal to resolve the ongoing conflict.” He also claimed that the proposal clearly highlights the fundamental rights and national interests of the Iranian people.

According to Ghalibaf, if the US wants to follow any other path, it will only lead to new failures. He said, “Any other approach will be completely fruitless. The longer they delay, the more American taxpayers will have to pay.”

According to analysts, Ghalibaf’s statement clearly reveals Tehran’s current strategy. On the one hand, they are showing their toughness in their position, while on the other hand, they are also bringing up the issue of US economic pressure and war costs. At the same time, Iran is also presenting their position as a fight to protect national rights.
Since the direct military tension between Iran, the US and Israel that began on February 28, instability has increased in the Middle East. In the meantime, Tehran sent a response to the US proposal to stop the war to Washington through the mediation of Pakistan.

However, US President Donald Trump rejected that response. In a post on the social media Truth Social, Trump said, “I read the response sent by the Iranian representatives. I did not like it at all, it is completely unacceptable.”

Analysts say that the path to a diplomatic solution in the Middle East is becoming more complicated due to the tough stance of both sides. At the same time, the risk of a new military conflict cannot be ruled out.
