Speech-impaired man dies tragically after being hit by a cattle-laden vehicle in Sirajganj

Rabiul Islam's son, Hafizul Islam (39), a speech-impaired man, was killed after being hit by a cattle-laden vehicle coming at a reckless speed in Tarash, Sirajganj. The incident took place today, October 21, at approximately 12:30 pm, in Tarash Upazila Municipality.
According to eyewitness sources, the deceased Hafizul Islam is a resident of Tarash Dakshinpara Mohalla. He was crossing the road at the time of the accident. When the speeding cattle-laden vehicle coming from the opposite direction hit him, he was seriously injured and collapsed on the spot.
Locals quickly rescued him and took him to Tarash Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
According to police sources, efforts are underway to identify the fatal vehicle and its driver. It is initially believed that reckless speed was the cause of this tragic accident. Tarash police have filed a case and investigation is underway.
Locals have strongly demanded action against speeding vehicles on the road.
