A businessman named Khaja Molya (38) has been accused of being hacked and beaten to death in Narail Sadar Upazila. The incident took place near the Moni Bricks brick kiln in Goalbathan area at around 5 pm on Tuesday (October 28). He has been admitted to Narail Sadar Hospital in an injured condition.
The injured Khaja Molya is the son of the deceased Abu Molya of Dhuria village in Sadar Upazila. He ran a tea and grocery shop next to the brick kiln.
According to relatives, Khaja Molya had an ongoing dispute with Raja Molya of the same village over a shop-related matter.
