The Iranian-backed armed group Hezbollah has claimed to have shot down an Israeli surveillance drone in southern Lebanon.
The group claimed to have destroyed an Israeli drone in the Nabatieh region. Meanwhile, the Israeli army said that its drone was shot down using a surface-to-air missile.
Hezbollah also claimed that the drone that was shot down was an Israeli ‘Hermes 450Z’ model. However, neither party’s claim has been independently verified.
