The Quran, the main text of Islam, is not only a guide to Muslim life or a precept for Muslim society and state; it is an eternal and universal dialogue for humanity. The message of the Quran is not limited to any specific group, race, or religion; rather, its call reaches the heart of every human being.

The first verse of the first Surah of the Quran, Al-Fatiha, states: ‘All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.’ Here, Allah is introduced not as the Lord of any specific nation or community, but as the Lord of the entire universe. Similarly, the last Surah, An-Nas, also addresses humanity, which is proof of the universality of the Quran.

In the Quran, Allah calls people directly. For example: ‘O mankind, worship your Lord who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous.’ (Surah Al-Baqarah, verse: 21) In addition, Allah ignores the differences between people and reminds them of the unity of creation: ‘O mankind! We have created you all from a single male and a female and have made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another.’ (Surah Al-Hujurat, verse: 13)

The call of the Quran is not only for Muslims, but also reminds us of the followers of previous heavenly religions. For example, it is said for the Jews and Christians: ‘Say, O People of the Book, come to a word that is one between us and you.’ (Surah Al-Imran, verse: 64) This was a historic attempt at unity between different religions.

The call of the Quran affects both the hearts and minds of people. The method of calling people to the path of Islam is explained in the verse of Surah An-Nahl: ‘Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful exhortation. And argue with them in the best way.’ (Ayat: 125)
Two paths are indicated here—wisdom or wisdom, which enlightens the human intellect, and mawizah or heartfelt exhortation, which touches the human emotions.

This tone and call of the Quran applies to every human being. It is not limited to the people of a particular community or land, but unites all mankind, calls to the truth, and conquers both hearts and minds.
