A 13-year-old student has been abducted on her way to a madrasa in Tentulia, Panchagarh. The family has expressed concern that she has not been found even after 9 days of the incident.
The family alleges that on the morning of June 22, when the student left home for the madrasa, some people forcibly took her on a motorcycle. The student's father has filed a written complaint with Tentulia Model Police Station, naming four people.
The complaint states that an accused youth had been harassing the student and threatening to kidnap her if she did not respond to the proposal. After the incident, the family members searched in various places but could not find any trace of the girl.
The student's father demanded the immediate rescue of his daughter, saying that his daughter is a minor and urgent steps are needed by the administration to bring her back safely. Meanwhile, locals have also demanded the immediate rescue of the missing student and action against the accused.
Tentulia Model Police Station OC Md. Laisur Rahman said the complaint is being investigated seriously. An operation is underway to rescue the student and legal action will be taken against the accused.
