The party's leaders and activists held a protest march in Gazipur to protest the terrorist attack on the car of National Citizens Party (NCP) chief organizer (south) Hasnat Abdullah. The march started from Bangla Motor area of the capital after 10 pm on Sunday (May 4) and proceeded towards TSC.
The leaders and activists who participated in the protest strongly condemned the attack and demanded that the attackers be identified as soon as possible and brought to justice within 24 hours.
At that time, the protesters were seen chanting slogans like 'Hasnat, Hasnat'. At the same time, they raised various slogans such as 'No compromise, struggle, struggle', 'Against Awami League, action to action', 'My brother is in the grave, why is the murderer outside', 'Ban the taboo, ban the Awami League', 'We will not let Hasnat's blood go in vain', 'We will not let July's blood go in vain', 'Against terrorists, action action' etc.
Incidentally, on the same evening, it was alleged that a group of terrorists had ambushed Hasnat Abdullah's car in Gazipur. This caused damage to the car and created great tension among the leaders and activists. The NCP has termed this attack as a political conspiracy and an attempt to suppress the party.
The party has informed that the next program will be announced soon if the demands are not met.
