41 BNP leaders and activists joined the Jamaat of Tetulia Union

Naibul Islam, general secretary of Ward No. 9 of Tirnoi Hat Union in Tetulia Upazila and president of the Ranchondi Eidgaon Committee, has joined the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami along with 41 leaders and activists. On Friday (October 3) afternoon, he and his associates officially joined Jamaat-e-Islami by filling out the membership form at the Tirnoi Hat Union Jamaat office in the upazila.
Besides, on the same day, 450 BNP supporters from the areas adjacent to Ranchondi and Bhadra Bari Jame Masjid in Tetulia Upazila also joined Jamaat-e-Islami. Jamaat welcomed the new joinees with flower garlands and handed over books to them.
A discussion meeting was organized on the occasion, which was organized by the Tirnoi Hat Union branch. The meeting was presided over by Union Jamaat President Md. Mozaffar Hossain. In addition, Panchagarh (Tetulia-Panchgarh Atwari) Jamaat's sole candidate Principal Iqbal Hossain (Maulana), Panchagarh District Branch Secretary Advocate Md. Nasir Uddin, Tetulia Thana Branch Ameer Maulana Abdul Hakim, Thana Branch Secretary Md. Habibur Rahman and Bangladesh Workers Welfare Federation Thana Secretary Md. Jahangir Alam also spoke.
Thus, through the massive participation of local BNP leaders and activists in Tetulia Upazila, Jamaat-e-Islami has gained new strength and opportunity to expand its political activities.
