It is worth noting that the fire broke out in the house of Tuhin, a London expatriate, late on Thursday night and spread in an instant. 11 rooms and 8 shops were completely burnt down. Upon receiving the information, three units of the Savar Fire Service brought the fire under control in about an hour.
