Real Madrid defeated Manchester City 3-2 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League knockout round play-off.
Despite falling behind by two points, Real Madrid won by defeating City with a last-minute goal, which is a dramatic victory for them.
Haaland's goal in the 19th minute gave City their first lead at the start of the match. However, Real Madrid, who had a lackluster first half, returned to their game in the second half.
After Kylian Mbappe equalized in the 60th minute, Haaland gave City the lead again from the penalty spot in the 80th minute. Although the match almost went to defeat for Real, they turned it around brilliantly.
In the 86th minute, a brilliant goal from substitute Brahim Diaz restored parity. Then, in extra time, a brilliant assist from Vinicius secured the victory for Real, defeating City 3-2.
