Amid the tense situation in the Middle East, US President Donald Trump has once again made harsh comments about Iran. He said that the country's foreign minister's statement on a possible ground attack on Iran is 'unnecessary talk' and has little to do with reality.

In an interview, Trump said that he wants to see a change in the current Iranian leadership structure. In his words, Iran needs "good leadership". However, he did not name any possible person in this regard. He only indicated that the United States has some people who can lead the situation better.

Trump also expressed a clear position on sending US troops to Iran. He said that sending ground forces to Iran at this time would be a waste of time and that he is not thinking about the issue right now. He claimed that Iran has already lost a lot of military capabilities in the recent conflict.

In an interview with NBC News on Thursday, Trump said that Iran has lost many important military assets, including its navy, and has suffered major losses militarily. Therefore, he does not see the need for a ground operation in the current situation.

Earlier, in a statement given to the same media, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that if the United States or Israel launches a ground attack against Iran, Tehran is ready for it. In response to the comment, Trump said that such statements are nothing more than political propaganda.

According to analysts, such harsh statements by the two sides in the context of the ongoing tension between Iran and the United States can further complicate the situation. At the same time, new concerns have also arisen in the international community about the security situation in the Middle East.
