People were united in Hasina's downfall without sacrificing their lives: Rizvi

Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of BNP, said that during the last 16-17 years of Sheikh Hasina's rule, no one could make a sound. What the people of Bangladesh wanted and did not want - Sheikh Hasina did not lend it. People's backs were pushed against the wall in such a way that people unitedly took to the streets for Hasina's downfall without giving up their lives.
He said these things after laying wreaths on the occasion of the 21st founding anniversary of the Nurses Association of Bangladesh at the grave of party founder Ziaur Rahman in Sher Bangla Nagar on Saturday (September 7).
Referring to the recent speech given by the Defense Minister of India on the Bangladesh issue, Rizvi said that the question has arisen in the public mind whether it is provocation or not. Are you (India) working to comfort the bride, to restore her zamindari!
Addressing India, Rizvi said that the people of Bangladesh are walking in the free air after chasing away a monster from the country. Now people are moving freely, sleeping peacefully. Isn't that what you want? Let Bangladesh return to democracy, let the people live in peace, do not the policy makers of India like it? India should keep it in mind that Bangladesh is a nation of heroes.
This senior leader of BNP said that those who have oppressed the people of their own country. Killed people. The mirror house has trapped people for years. Killed and disappeared by the police. But people gave up the illusion of their lives and united and took to the streets to bring about their downfall. Just as they expelled the British, they stood against the Pakistanis in 1971, just like they expelled Sheikh Hasina from the country on August 5.
Co-Nurses Affairs Secretary of BNP and NAB President Jahanara Begum attended the event, health affairs secretary of the party Dr. Rafiqul Islam, NAB General Secretary. Sujan Mia, Member. Mahbubul Islam, Iqbalur Rahman Rokon etc.
