No anarchic situation or crisis should be created: Bangladesh NAP

The crisis surrounding the demand for the President's resignation is unwelcome and worrisome. Whether the former prime minister has resigned or not is not a matter of discussion. The main agenda now needs to be political, state and constitutional reform and establishing people's right to vote through price control, law and order situation and reforms. No such crisis should be created now, which will question the work of the international government and prolong the path of democracy and people's suffrage," said Bangladesh National Awami Party-Bangladesh NAP.
In a statement sent to the media on Thursday (October 24), Bangladesh NAP Chairman Jebel Rahman Gani and Secretary General M. Golam Mostafa Bhuiya said, "The President himself has questioned the ethics of holding the office of the President by making two statements about the resignation of the former Prime Minister. Still, nobody wants to create an anarchic situation or crisis at this moment. '
They said, "The question of whether the president will remain in his post or not is not a legal or constitutional question in Bangladesh at the moment." This is absolutely a political decision. So the decision about the president should be taken on the basis of political consensus and consensus.
The leaders said, "It should be remembered that the conspirators and power-hungry are still active to prevent the final victory of the mass aspiration that has been created through the student uprising. In this situation, everyone has to think about taking any kind of drastic decision. After the post of President becomes vacant, all the political parties must develop a united approach to ensure that the tyrants cannot exploit that vacuum. At the same time, the process of reforming the state, constitution and politics should continue. '
Bangladesh NAP thinks, 'The creation of the democratic Bangladesh desired by the people is not possible without the complete abolition of the dosar and fascist structures left by the fallen dictatorship and the reform of the state and politics. Without these, if the government is established only through an election, even if there is a change of power, the aspirations of the July-August revolution will remain unfulfilled. There is no alternative to 'national unity' to resolve other political crises including the constitution.
