Former General Secretary of the People's Rights Council and BNP leader Rashed Khan has made a strong comment targeting National Citizen Party (NCP) leader Nasiruddin Patwari. He warned, 'If you don't want to eat eggs, get better'.
He made these remarks at a press briefing organized at his office in Kaliganj, Jhenaidah on Wednesday (May 27). At that time, he alleged that the use of provocative language in political speeches and making derogatory comments after visiting different districts is creating anger among the common people.
Rashed Khan further claimed that political tension is increasing in such a situation and in response to this, incidents like egg throwing may occur as an expression of anger by the common people. According to him, such incidents may increase if there is no restraint in political behavior.
He called on those concerned to maintain political tolerance and said that everyone must play a responsible role to keep the situation under control.
