Bangladesh has put Australia under pressure from the start in the second T20I of the series. After losing the toss, the visitors lost 3 wickets before adding any runs. The aggressive bowling of the Tiger pacers put the Aussies in trouble early in the match.
Taskin Ahmed bowled Matthew Short in the fourth ball of the first over of the innings to bring Bangladesh's first success. Australia lost their first wicket before opening the score.
