Once upon a time, he didn't even have enough money to buy a snack in the school canteen. Seeing his friends eat, he dreamed of standing on his own feet. That boy is today one of the most successful businessmen in the Middle East and the owner of thousands of crores of rupees.
Born into a lower-middle-class family in the Ghatkopar area of Mumbai, India, Rizwan Sajan's childhood was spent in financial crisis. At an early age, he realized that to move forward in life, he had to make his own way. At the age of just 14, he started a small business with a small amount borrowed from his father.
He started by selling school books, but later got involved in various seasonal businesses. Although the profit was not much at first, each venture gave him new experience and confidence. The harsh reality of life made him a more hardworking and entrepreneurial person.
At the age of 18, his father's death was a big blow in his life. Taking the responsibility of his family on his shoulders, he migrated to Kuwait in search of work. There, he showed his ability to find new opportunities even in critical situations, along with his job. Later, he went to Dubai and started a business with his own savings.
Gradually, the Danube Group he built became established in the construction materials and real estate sectors. Currently, the company has become one of the most well-known business organizations in the Middle East and operates in multiple countries.
Today, Rizwan Sajan is also known for his luxurious lifestyle. His huge palace in Dubai, modern amenities, and vast wealth are often discussed. However, he has repeatedly said that the main strength of his success is not money, but hard work, the courage to take risks, and a never-give-up mentality.
Rizwan's story proves that even if you start with limited opportunities, it is possible to achieve extraordinary success with perseverance, planning, and confidence.
