Iran has reacted directly and strongly to US President Donald Trump's stance on the ceasefire. Tehran claims that it does not make decisions under pressure from Washington or to please Trump; rather, it gives the highest priority to protecting the country's sovereign interests and the rights of its people.

Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported that Tehran has rejected the recent ceasefire proposal made by the United States. According to a relevant Iranian source, through that proposal, Washington essentially wanted to force Iran to submit by imposing additional conditions.

The source clearly stated, "No one in Iran makes any proposals or plans to please Trump. The representatives participating in the talks only care about the rights and national interests of the Iranian people. If Trump is dissatisfied with this, it is not a concern for Iran."

Meanwhile, Tehran also alleged that Donald Trump is repeatedly failing diplomatically because he is unable to accept the real situation. Iranian sources claim that Washington is pursuing a policy of pressure instead of talks, making the path to a solution more complicated.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump said in a post on the social media Truth Social that he found Iran's latest response "completely unacceptable". Although he did not disclose any details on this matter.

Earlier, Iran conveyed its proposals and position to the United States through Pakistan as a mediator. However, analysts believe that the ongoing tension in the Middle East is increasing instead of decreasing due to the tough stance of both sides.

These contradictory statements have created new concerns in the international arena. In particular, the uncertainty about the ceasefire and the recent drone attacks have made the security situation in the Middle East more fragile.
