Tasnim Zara questions police actions during the vandalism of a health center in Mirpur

Physician and politician Tasnim Zara has raised questions regarding the role of the police during the attack and vandalism at the Radda MCH-FP Center in the capital's Mirpur-1 area. While visiting the healthcare facility on Sunday (September 27), she remarked that such incidents make it difficult for the public to maintain trust in law enforcement agencies.

Zara noted that reports of land, house, and shop seizures are emerging from various parts of the country, adding that many of these allegations implicate local BNP leaders. However, she did not present these allegations as proven facts.

She described the BNP's decision to expel a party leader as a positive step. At the same time, she questioned whether the action would be limited merely to an expulsion statement or if the underlying reasons for such allegations arising at the local level would also be investigated.

Regarding the vandalism at the health center, she inquired about the specific actions taken by the police at the time of the incident. A statement from the police on this matter would provide a clearer understanding of the event.
