The Department of Meteorology has asked four seaports of the country to show local warning signal No. 3 due to the fear of stormy winds. The weather forecast for inland river ports of the country from 5 am to 1 pm today said, 45-60 km per hour from South/South-East over Tangail, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dhaka, Faridpur, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Cox's Bazar regions. Rain/Thundershower with gusty/gusty winds at times. The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
Meanwhile, there was continuous rain in the capital on Thursday. It rained intermittently on Friday. Besides, rainfall has increased across the country. Especially in the coastal areas, the low-lying areas have been submerged due to very heavy rains. Circulating clouds and heavy rains are occurring over the north and north-east from coast to central. Due to this, most of the country's river ports have been asked to display local naval warning signal number 2.
The Department of Meteorology has asked to show local warning signal No. 3 in 4 seaports of the country due to the fear of stormy winds. 288 mm of rain fell in the country's highest Feni in 24 hours till Friday evening. Apart from this, the Meteorological Office has reported about 206 millimeters of rain in Bhola, 157 in Patuakhali, 152 in Barisal, 111 in Koira in Khulna, 160 in Mongla, 109 in Chuadanga, 149 in Chandpur, 222 in Ramgatti, 119 in Bandarban, 105 millimeters in Ishwardi and more or less in the entire country.
Rainfall will continue intermittently for another 10 days, said Meteorologist of Meteorological Department. Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallick said, due to rainfall, warning signal number 3 has been asked to be displayed in coastal areas. Heavy rain may occur in different parts of the country including Dhaka, Sylhet and Mymensingh. Although the amount of rain will be less from Saturday morning to Sunday, it will increase again. Although there is a risk of water vapor and monsoon low pressure, low pressure may not occur. However, there may be inundation in North East region.
Day temperatures may rise slightly across the country. The night temperature may remain almost unchanged.
