Over 300 petrol pumps closed in Philippines due to fuel shortage

The Southeast Asian country of the Philippines has been hit by a severe fuel shortage due to ongoing global tensions and war. As a result, over 300 petrol pumps have been closed across the country.
According to the government monitoring team, many pumps have completely run out of fuel due to severe pressure on the supply system. The Philippine National Police report said that 365 petrol stations have completely closed their operations so far.
The situation is becoming more complicated day by day due to the rise in oil prices in the global market and the supply shortage. Since the start of the war, fuel prices have more than doubled, which is having a major impact on the lives of ordinary people.
As a result of this crisis, there has been stagnation in the transport sector, with many drivers stopping driving due to excessive costs. At the same time, the price of daily necessities has also increased, increasing pressure on public life.
Although the government is trying to import fuel from alternative sources, it is not being sufficient due to high prices and supply shortages in the global market. According to analysts, if this crisis lasts long enough for the Philippines, as an import-dependent country, it could turn into a major economic disaster.
