Human chain demanding the withdrawal and release of the case against 12 people including the president of Jayenshahi Adivasi Development Council

In Madhupur, the people of Garo Koch community presented human bonds and memorial letters demanding unconditional release of 11 prisoners including the president of Jayenshahi Tribal Development Council, Eugene Nakrek.
On the morning of Tuesday, September 10, Jayenshahi Adivasi Development Council, Sarbik Human Development Organization, Achik Michik Society, a part of Tribal Welfare Association, Koch Adivasi Organization, part of Bangladesh Garo Student Organization and Garo Student Federation through Madhupur Upazila Executive Officer Zubair Hossain, Tangail District Administrator Rababar. Memorials are provided. Hundreds of Garo Koch men and women from different villages of Madhupur presented the commemorative script after human bonding at the upazila parishad square.

Among others present at Manav Bandhan were former president of Jayenshahi Tribal Development Council Ajay A Mr, vice president of Joyenshahi Tribal Development Council Thomas Chambugong, president of Madhupur branch of Garo Student Federation Tushar Nekla, Madhupur branch of Bagachas Lucy Richil, leader of Koch tribal organization Bharat Burman, central of Garo Student Federation Adviser of the committee Rissard Mr., tribal leader Rosi Mrong, Joyenshahi Tribal Development Parishad Thanar Baid Branch President Agez Rema, General Secretary Ranjan Hagidak, Koch Tribal Organization President Gaurang Burman, Joyenshahi Tribal Development Parishad Organizing Secretary Praveen Chisim, General Secretary of Sarbik Human Development Organization Md. Mofiz Uddin, woman leader of ethnic community Megi Medilina Mrong, member of Arankhola Union Parishad Praveer Kumar Barman, Utpal Rema of Idilpur village and others. Mofiz Uddin, General Secretary of Sarbik Human Development Organization, read the memorial on human bonds.

Speakers in a short rally on human bonds said that the famous president of Madhupur Jayenshahi Adivasi Development Parishad, Eugene Nakrek, and the leaders of the overall human development organization, were accused of stealing trees in a conspiratorial manner. Speakers termed the case as false and an attempt to suppress the movement of landless tribal people for their just rights. Along with him, 11 other people are in jail in the case filed by the defendant about 84 percent of the land of the overall human development organization. This program was held to demand the withdrawal of the case and their release.
Madhupur Upazila Executive Officer Zubair Hossain confirmed the receipt of the memorial.
