The businessman issued a legal notice to collect the money due in Hatibandha of Lalmonirhat. On September 17, Advocate Zakir Hossain of Rangpur Judge Court sent a legal notice for payment of money.
According to the notice sources, Asadul Islam Shipan, son of deceased Sekander Ali of South Gaddimari village of Singimari union, bought stones worth 25 lakhs from Atiqul Arif, son of Abdul Jalil of South Parulia village of Patikapara union, in exchange of a check. But he hesitated to pay that money for a long time. He did not pay the money despite taking time to pay it several times before. So he sent a legal notice to the accused Shipon through a lawyer to collect the due money. The notice also states that the amount must be paid within one month of sending the notice.
When the accused Shipon was spoken to in this regard, he said that no check was drawn to Zakir and I had no business with him, it was done to harass me.
However, Rangpur Judge's Court Advocate Zakir Hossain said that he did not pay my client's money despite repeated demands, so this notice has been given. Legal action will be taken if payment fails within next 1 month.
