Kane or Haaland-Who is better, England captain avoids comparison

Harry Kane and Erling Haaland are at the center of discussion before the England-Norway clash in the World Cup quarter-finals. The England captain refused to directly answer the question of who is more advanced among the two star strikers. According to him, even though they play in the same position, there is a big difference in the role and style of play of the two.
The two forwards are also in the race for the Golden Boot. Haaland scored seven goals and Kane six in the tournament. Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe are at the top of the list with eight goals. Therefore, the fight for the personal awards of the two strikers may also take a new turn with the result of the quarter-finals.
In a pre-match press conference, Kane said that it would not be right to compare himself directly with Haaland. Haaland is mainly dangerous for his speed, physical strength, positioning inside the box and perfect finishing. On the other hand, Kane likes to get down to receive the ball, involve his teammates in the game and create chances.
Praising the Norwegian star, Kane said that Haaland's physical ability and goal-scoring record prove his quality. However, England's main goal will be to keep him inactive as an opponent in important matches. The English captain also expressed his deep respect for Haaland as a player and a professional.
Kane's main goal now is not individual goals or the Golden Boot, but to win the World Cup for England. However, he also admitted that his performance as the team's main goalscorer will play a key role in England's success.
When he takes the field against Norway, Kane will touch Wayne Rooney's record of 120 international matches as an England outfield player. While he is proud of the achievement, his focus is now on securing a place in the last four of the World Cup.
England coach Thomas Tuchel has also praised the captain's leadership and current form. According to him, Kane not only scores goals, but also plays a key role in taking responsibility and inspiring his teammates. As a result, the England-Norway quarter-final has created additional interest as a clash between the two teams and two of the best strikers in the world today.
